My diet book

*Note – some of the answers to your anonymous questions are in this post. but a lot more formal answers for the rest of the questions are to come.

It’s only day two of the meal plan I set up for myself this week and I already realized it’s not working. I normally goal for 1,800 calories when I am trying to lose weight. My activity level is enough that this is a good calorie level for me to lose and not get too hungry (as long as I’m not training for anything).

I broke it down something like this:

400 calorie breakfast

200 calorie snack

500 calorie lunch

200 calorie snack

500 calorie dinner

Well, that’s not working. The smaller breakfast than I’m used to leaves me hungry all morning and a lot of of the afternoon until my body catches up with the food. So, I’m going to switch things around a bit and re-write the plan. I firmly believe that every body is different and you have to find what works for you and your own obstacles to success.

Write your own diet book – it’s the only one that will work for the rest of your life!

After my gym class (which I LOVED!) I ate an apple.  Monica cannot live on apples alone, they make her hungrier than she was to begin with! note to self: fix your eyebrows.

I also snagged some trail mix and samples from the Nut house ?

While out I saw this new flavor of Chobani – Strawberry Banana. I was so ecstatic to try it that it turned into my lunch. I had the yogurt with cereal and trail mix. Yum!

Last night I got ready with drink in hand. It was a disaster waiting to happen. I’m still shocked I didn’t get eyeliner all over my face (something I’ve done sober even).

I got a ton of questions on “What are those turtles in your hair?!?!”

Ha! love that you thought I was drunk enough to mistake reptiles for rollers.

I used my favorite hot rolling system – the top Styler! I used to use a very small pack of travel hot rollers (since I spent half of my time on the road last year) but those finally broke and I started using these and never looked back.

Now it’s time to get ready for a terrific week!

I started my day with a very early wake up call and a very early breakfast. Sunday morning pancakes were a must, but I didn’t want to get too crazy with it so I used my incredibly easy 3 ingredient pancake recipe.

Who’s training for something ideal now? Čo??

I really very first started losing weight by walking. I took walks with my buddy as well as walks on the treadmill. At least initially, all I did was walk – I didn’t even modification my eating for a while, as well as I lost weight.

So, as much as my heart is hurting as well as I’m feeling stressed about not running, I understand I can still reach my goals.

Super Market Craziness

Oh.My.Gosh. After my visit this morning I had to hit up the incredibly market since we’re out of eggs as well as Ben is some type of “eggatarian”. I have never understood any individual else that likes eggs as much as him. great thing all these huevos are complimentary considering that I won the Eggland’s finest contest a while back!

Anyways, back to the crazy incredibly market. obviously it is the Apocalypse since everybody is stocking up for some type of disaster. The shelves were bare in some locations as well as a mess in others! I was going to take a pic, however I understand lots of markets have a odd policy about that (most of the time I neglect it, however I was trying to get out of the store with my sanity).

Before my visit I had a yogurt as well as cereal bowl with greek yogurt, 1/2 banana, almond butter as well as cereals. It was so good!
